										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Renewable Field Services (Renewable FS) is a blade specialist contractor providing inspection, repair, and maintenance services for wind turbine operators across multiple regions. Their team is able to offer a full turnkey solution, including their own Authorised / Competent Technicians provision and their role is critical in helping asset owners maximise energy output and minimise downtime.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Traditional inspection methods often meant delays. Low- or no-wind days were lost as “weather delay days,” while flight path errors and lidar glitches caused interruptions and inefficiencies. To scale their services and deliver more reliable results, Renewable FS needed a smarter solution.</span></p>
<h3><b>How Dhalion Changed the Game</b></h3>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Perceptual Robotics’ Dhalion autonomous drone system provided the answer. With Dhalion, Renewable FS saw</span><b> reliable flights</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> with significantly fewer interruptions, coupled with consistently high-quality images across all seasons. Inspections became faster and </span><b>more cost-effective</b><span style="font-weight: 400;">, supported by a customisable portal that gave their blade specialists full control over capture, annotation, and reporting. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">To take productivity a step further, Perceptual Robotics also developed an</span><b> API integration</b><span style="font-weight: 400;">, allowing Renewable FS to seamlessly transfer inspection data into their internal systems. This eliminated manual handling, reduced errors, and ensured inspection results could be turned into decisions more quickly. Throughout, the partnership was reinforced by responsive collaboration, with the Perceptual Robotics </span><b>Support Team rated as “Excellent”</b><span style="font-weight: 400;">.</span></p>
<h3><b>Impact Beyond Productivity</b></h3>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The results have been immediate and measurable. Renewable FS carried out </span><b>more than 400 inspections</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> in 2024. Using the Dot drone, their team even set a record of </span><b>20 inspections in a single day</b><span style="font-weight: 400;">, showing both the </span><b>efficiency of the process and the robustness</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> of the technology. Perhaps most importantly, low-wind days are no longer considered downtime. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As Renewable FS explained, </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">“The ability to now inspect on low/no wind days due to </span></i><b><i>not requiring the rotor to be positioned</i></b><i><span style="font-weight: 400;"> has significantly reduced our down time. This has therefore increased our seasonal productivity.”</span></i></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The improved reliability has also delivered consistently excellent results.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As the team noted, </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">“Image quality has been excellent throughout the blade season (for us this has included spring, summer, autumn &amp; winter).”</span></i></p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">🚀 A few weeks ago our team completed </span><b>56 wind turbine inspections in UK </b><span style="font-weight: 400;">under some very unique conditions.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">🪫 The site was on </span><b>planned downtime with no power</b><span style="font-weight: 400;">, meaning turbines were locked in random blade positions. With </span><b>Dot technology</b><span style="font-weight: 400;">, we successfully inspected turbines stopped in those random angles, while keeping a high quality and perpendicularity and, what is most important,  without the client losing a single unit of generation. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">For those not aware, most drone inspections require that the turbine is stopped with one blade up (12 o’clock position) and this can only be done if the wind farm is energised and blades can be positioned.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As far as we know, high quality-inspecting in any position isn’t possible with some other solutions in the market.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Dot’s flexibility allows </span><b>inspections to be carried out during low wind conditions, when blade re-positioning is challenging, or during planned substation downtimes.</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> This avoids additional downtime solely for inspections, saving both time and money.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This project is a great example of how </span><b>flexibility, the right tools, and innovative thinking</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> can make the difference for wind operators.</span></p>

With solid technical expertise and a meticulous eye for detail, he plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of wind turbine blade inspections carried out with our solutions.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In his role, Clalton is responsible for coordinating our network of blade specialists and oversees the assessment and classification of damages, making sure that every report generated by our system for service inspections is precise, actionable, and aligned with industry standards. He also leads the End of Project process, ensuring customers gain actionable insights rather than just static PDF reports. His expertise helps transform raw inspection data into clear, valuable insights for our clients.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Beyond damage evaluation, Clalton also provides specialist technical support, assisting customers in interpreting results, addressing operational questions, and getting the most value from Perceptual Robotics’ technology. His ability to connect technical knowledge with customer needs ensures a smooth and confident experience for every project. His language skills also help a lot in supporting Portuguese and Spanish speaking clients.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Outside of work, Clalton values time with his family and contributes to his community as a volunteer firefighter, which is an invaluable contribution where he lives: Portugal, which unfortunately suffers a lot of forest fires during summer. Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, he also enjoys the outdoors, spending time at the beach, and sharing his passion for cooking, especially preparing a traditional Brazilian barbecue for friends and colleagues.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">With his professionalism, commitment, and collaborative approach, Clalton contributes directly to raising the standard of blade inspections and strengthening the innovative solutions we deliver to the wind energy sector.</span></p>
