Drone Inspection Systems for Wind Turbine Blades: Dot and Eve
Dot and Eve are autonomous drone systems that you buy and fly with your own team to inspect wind turbine blades. They work with DJI drones and our patented flight software, and send every image to Dhalion for AI damage detection, analytics and repair planning.
Owners, operators, manufacturers and independent service providers use them so their own technicians can inspect turbines when they need to, without waiting for an external crew.
Choose the Kit That Fits Your Work

Dot: For Inspection Campaigns
Dot is a fully autonomous inspection system for DJI Matrice drones, built for speed and image quality across many turbines, onshore and offshore. A 50 mm lens at 6 to 10 metres from the blade gives 1 to 3 pixels per millimetre.
A full inspection takes around 20 minutes, so a team completes 10 to 20 inspections per day. Teams mobilise within 2 days, Dot flies in wind up to 12 m/s, and each battery lasts about 25 minutes.

Eve: Portable Kit for On-Demand Inspections
Eve is a compact, autonomous mini-drone system that fits in a backpack and can travel on commercial flights. It is made for site managers and smaller teams who want to inspect a turbine the same day, without calling a contractor.
Check blades after a storm, when a turbine sounds unusual, or before and after repairs. Eve is slower than Dot and flies closer to the blade, with the same AI damage detection and reports within 48 hours.

Offshore and Remote Sites
Dot takes off and lands automatically from vessels, which keeps people off the turbine and gives consistent, high-quality images offshore.
Eve suits remote sites that are hard to reach with a full crew. Both systems feed the same platform, so all your inspection data sits in one place.
What Happens After the Flight
Your technician runs the automated flight. A basic A1/A3 drone certificate is enough.
Images upload to the Dhalion portal after the flight.
Our AI finds and classifies the damage within minutes, then blade experts check the results. Reports, images and annotated data are ready in 48 hours.
Use fleet analytics and the repair module to decide what to fix first.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. That is what Dot and Eve are for. Your technicians get online training and run the inspections themselves. If you need extra capacity, our own teams can also inspect for you.
Yes. Even though the flight is automated, regulations require a drone pilot certificate. The basic A1/A3 certificate is enough and can be obtained online for free.
Dhalion works with the DJI Matrice 400 (M400) and the Matrice 4E and 4T (M4E, M4T). We also support the earlier Mavic 3E and 3T (M3E, M3T), Matrice 350 (M350) and Matrice 300 (M300).
Dot is built for inspection campaigns: it is faster and captures images from 6 to 10 metres with a 50 mm lens. Eve is a compact mini-drone that is slower but fits in a backpack and can be taken on a commercial flight, which makes it ideal for remote sites or as a daily tool for wind farm managers.
It depends on blade size. An Enercon E40 with 20 metre blades takes about 10 minutes. A Nordex N132 with 65 metre blades takes about 25 minutes.
Yes. You own your data and can download all raw images at any time.
